Plantation of elephant fodder like ‘Bhim Kol’, a giant species of banana native to Assam that is favored by elephants, jackfruit and elephant apple saplings along the Nagaon- Karbi Anglong border. Program will start at 10 AM at the Green Guard Nature Organization field office at Lungsung, Chapanala, Nagaon. Plantation will be followed by an awareness and sensitization session with the screening of the movie Return to the Forest and distribution of flashlights to the villagers of Human-Elephant Conflict affected areas.
