To mark World Elephant Day on Tuesday 12th August, a special public art display is coming to Spitalfields. For one week only, the Herd of Hope, a group of life-size bronze elephant sculptures, will take over Brushfield Street in Spitalfields.
This outdoor installation, ‘Every Step Matters’, is a tribute to Africa’s elephants and the incredible work being done to protect them. Visitors can walk among the life-size bronze sculptures along Brushfield Street and follow the elephant footprints trail to 30a Spital Square.
Sheldrick Wildlife Trust will be hosting a pop-up experience where you can hear amazing rescue stories, meet the team behind the mission and explore interactive exhibits. You’ll also find eco-friendly gifts, handmade Kenyan décor and a limited-edition collection from luxury brand Elizabeth Scarlett.
It’s a brilliant way to learn more about elephant conservation and how to get involved. Plus, it’s a fun, family-friendly day out with plenty of photo moments along the way: Learn More.
