We are an NGO based in Belgium and working on the ground in Nepal to help improve the lives of captive elephants.
One of our projects is the ELEPHANT HAPPY HOUR, which we offer here to tourists as an alternative to riding.
For World Elephant Day, we will be live broadcasting a happy hour via our facebook page. (www.facebook.com/standup4elephants)
This is something new we’ve started recently, as a way to give some free time to elephants who are not suited for close human interaction, but still really need a break from their difficult working lives giving back rides to tourists.
