The Friends of Ruth & Emily, a nonprofit organization dedicated to retiring Asian elephants Ruth & Emily from Buttonwood Park Zoo, is holding a screening of Love & Bananas to raise awareness of the plight of Asian elephants.
Sunday, August 12 at 2:30 pm at the Co+Creative Center, 137 Union Street, New Bedford.
A panel discussion on the issues raised in the documentary and captive elephants follows.
