Conservation Initiative for the Asian Elephant (CIFAE) is sponsoring the second annual World Elephant Day Celebration – Gainesville on 11-August, Thursday from 4-9pm. The event is being hosted by First Magnitude Brewery. CIFAE’s President and Cofounder will present circumstances threatening the Asian elephant and what CIFAE is doing to protect the Asian elephant as well as the indigenous peoples sharing their habitat. The event will also feature live music by Flatland, games and art for kids, Asian elephant information stations, T-shirts and sticker, and donors will receive beer discounts.
