William Shatner is a huge advocate for elephant conservation, and has been a supporter of World Elephant Day since its launch on August 12, 2012. Mr. Shatner is the narrator of the film “Return to the Forest”, which tells the story of the Elephant Reintroduction Foundation, and their work to return captive elephants back to the wild. “Return to the Forest” was released on the first World Elephant Day.
Mr. Shatner also narrates the follow-up feature documentary “When Elephants Were Young”, to be released worldwide on World Elephant Day 2016!
