Elephants: The Untold Saga

The man-animal conflict has unleashed a saga of devastation, the magnitude of which can’t be fathomed.  The extent of this devastation is such that many species which existed half a century back in abundance have either extinct or are on the brink of extinction.

This World Elephant Day (12th August), TERI SAS invites you to our upcoming S-talk, ‘Elephants: The Untold Saga’ which focuses on human-elephants conflicts, impacts of development projects on elephants and the interventions required to mitigate such losses.

The discussion will be led by Ms Neha Sinha, Policy Officer at Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) and Ms Venetia Sharanya, Junior Research Fellow at Foundation for Ecological Research Advocacy and Learning (FERAL).

It is also a proud moment for all of us since Ms Venetia is Alumnus of TERI SAS (M.Sc. ESRM).

Do Join to brainstorm over the possible solutions to end this conflict.
