The Ndovu Challenge Marathon event is a wildlife and environment conservation event aimed at raising funds to help communities that have projects based on wildlife and environment conservation. The event is a platform to speak more vocally to committees about the need for conservation especially of endangered species our focus being on the NDOVU (swahili for Elephant) . We also try to tackle the human wildlife conflict experienced with communities living close to the national parks.
Sports is the medium we use to bring fun and educative dialogue and in the process nurturing athletic talent.
The event takes place on August 13th at the Rukinga Wildlife Sanctuary in Maugu, Voi, Kenya.
