Join us on World Elephant Day watching the award-winning feature-length documentary When Elephants Were Young at the Cinecenta in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia.
It tells the story of a young man and his elephant, street-begging in Bangkok, amid the controversial elephant business that threatens their survival, until the opportunity comes to release the elephant to the wild.
After the 7 PM show, Patricia Sims, filmmaker and World Elephant Day co-founder, will answer questions from the audience about elephants, the film and conservation issues during a Q & A.
